Chicago - June 18-19, 2006

Chicago, Illinois, is one of the beautiful cities in the US that lies about 396 miles east of Minneapolis, MN. The city with tall towerlike buildings of 80-90 storeys and big stalls make a wonderful attraction to the people. O'Hare is the main airport of the city and is regarded as the busiest airport in the US. We travelled to Chicago from Minneapolis on a Chrysler Sebringe. Sugam was at the wheels for more than 6 hours each way. We drove from Minneapolis to Chicago via Rochester, MN and Wisconsin. We drove most of the way through countrysite with green and flat land, that was seen more or less like a tarai belt in Nepal. The grain stores appeared in the field reminds an exact lifestyle of the farmers in the villages in Nepal. But their discipline, awakening of the responsibilities towards the development of the locality, people and the country creates a vast difference between the people of Nepal and the US. Moreover, the involvement of latest technologies and the equipments in their day to day lives make the Americans really different from the people of the developing countries in Asia. However, the USA is the richest and most powerful country in the world.
