Minnehaha Falls - June 6, 2006

Minnehaha Falls Is The Best
By D. P. Shrestha, 16252, Fairgreen Ave S, MN 10/06/06

Last Visit: I visited Minnehaha Falls with my wife and son Sugam on June 10. The trip was one of the unscheduled programmes. I loved the place.

The Minnehaha Falls is quite close to the Nokomis Park which has 2.78 miles of walking lane around. Minneapolis is a state of 10,000 lakes. Nokomis could be one of the smaller lakes but a very pleasant one nevertheless. In fact, every lake is attached with park, well shaped, designed and maintained either by the government or by the residents. May, June and July is supposed to be suitable season to visit Minneapolis, Minnesota. It will be very hard even to come out in the next season - winter because of chilly weather. People here love natural beauty very much. During this season if the weather is better they don't care even about their work. They don't want to miss out on enjoying the nature at any cost. Thus the parks seem very crowded in this season with people walking, jogging, roller skating, boating and sun bathing.

There are many trails you can take that brings you to breath taking scenes! And the falls was unbelievable. I enjoy every single second while visiting places like these. If you haven't been there before; or are thinking about going...I suggest you go there!
