Stillwater - May 30th, 2006 (Tuesday)

Welcome to the St. Croix Valley Come to Stillwater, Minnesota and journey back in time to the era of Victorian finery and turn of the century charm. Nestled in the wooded hills in the beautiful St. Croix River Valley, Stillwater, Minnesota is a treasure that time forgot. Thousands visit Stillwater & the St. Croix Valley each year to tour the historic downtown district where Minnesota was born, famous outlaws were imprisoned, and fortunes were made in lumber and milling (see St. Croix Valley Traveller.com).

Very big lake, a good touristic place, where one can enjoy the motor-boating, surfing water on canoe and small boats as well. Actually the St. Croix Valley is the place of rich people, who know to relax and rest after their hard time all day long in their working place. The beautiful buildings in the bush all around the hills of the lake were another big attraction of the site. It is a cool place. Like in Aerial Lift Bridge the bridge over the St. Croix River also opens a section (column) of a solid piece of its road by lifting high up to pass in the medium size boats. We happened to the place not only to escape the very hot (87. Fahrenheit) at Fairgree Ave but also to enjoy the world reknown naturalistic places of Minnesota, Meniapolis. Thanks son, Sugam who drived us to the place for enjoyment.
