Nepali Politics: Dahal towards ending current political deadlock - Dwarika Shrestha

"After all, the rat came under the rock." It was mostly learned that the rat, after it digged in a certain depth-long cave for itself, believed that it was going to swallow in whole of the rock at no time. It believed that rock is nothing but a mere heap of earth and demonstrated its swollen up body for nothing.

But the rock, whatever small it is, accomodates several lives and nature in the world. The small rat could not even imagine it. Now it has realized that rock is many more than what it is looked like. Rock is rock and rat is rat.

The Nepalnews.com in web site covered a news under the head "Dahal meets President Yadav to end current political deadlock. The news is read as follows:
"Dahal Meets President Yadav To End Current Political Deadlock
The Unified CPN (Maoist)Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal met President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav at the latter's office Wednesday evening raising hopes for an end to the current political deadlock soon.

Emerging from the nearly hour long meeting, Dahal told media persons that they discussed past disagreements that led to the fall of the Maoist-led-Government and way to end the current political deadlock.

"The President said that the current deadlock might adversely affect the constitution writing and the peace process", said chairman Dahal who is more popular by his nom-de-gurre Prachanda.

"But just by meeting the President the political situation won't improve. This is a good beginning towards ending the political deadlock."

The meeting is the first meeting between the two since Dahal resigned from the post of Prime Minister following differences with President Yadav, who reversed the Maoist government decision to sack the then Army chief Rukmangal Katuwal...."- nepalnews.com dated 30 Sept. 2009.
